Care
Linen is one of the most durable and strongest natural fabrics. The lightweight and breathable fabric is long-lasting and timeless. Linen products are easy to care for, but for a garment to last a long time, care is essential, and you should follow the recommendations below.
Washing
Linen garments absorb moisture well, and you should wash your pyjamas every week on average to avoid sweat stains and fabric damage.
Wash linen garments at a low temperature (40C/104F) in plenty of water, as linen products absorb moisture very well.
We recommend using mild, liquid, environmentally friendly detergents during washing, as eco-friendly detergents help to preserve the fabric's properties and reduce water pollution.
Do not use bleach or other aggressive stain removing detergents as they can damage the fibres and discolour the fabric.
Use a gentle spin cycle (800 RPM) during washing to reduce friction and wear.
Separate dark colours from light colours to avoid colour bleeding.
Do not overload the washing machine, washing freely will reduce friction between items and clean stains more effectively.
Turn items inside out before washing.
If a stain appears, wash immediately with lukewarm water, do not leave the stain to dry as it may make removal more difficult.
Hand washing
Soak linen clothes in lukewarm water using a small amount of detergent.
Use a gentle rocking motion when washing, do not rub, twist, or wring the fabric as this can stretch the fabric.
Drying
Linen clothes can be dried in a tumble dryer at low temperatures or left to dry naturally, either by hanging them in the open air out of direct sunlight or lying them down.
When tumble drying, remove the linen clothes while they are still slightly damp and hang or lay them out to dry completely.
Items should not be left damp for long periods of time as this can cause bad odours and bacterial growth.
It is very important not to dry the products at high temperatures as they may shrink.
Ironing
It is recommended to iron linen products when wet to help remove wrinkles.
Use medium or high temperature with steam for ironing.
If the product is completely dry, it is recommended to lightly dampen with water before ironing.
Iron on the wrong side of the fabric to protect the linen surface from shine.
It is recommended to store linen products in a dry, well-ventilated room. Before, make sure that your products are completely dry and clean.
Do not store your products in plastic bags or cardboard boxes, choose special bags for storing clothes.
If you decide that you don't need an item that is still usable, don't throw it in the bin, consider reselling it or giving it away to avoid textile waste.
However, if the product is unusable, bring it to a textile recycling point.
